This project was the subject of a private architectural competition involving a select group of architects to appoint the team responsible for developing the residential complex.

Located in a prime setting in Sant Just Desvern, with direct access to Collserola Park and surrounded by top-tier public and private amenities, the proposal envisaged the construction of 10 high-end single-family homes.

The competition prioritised ensuring the houses benefited from optimal solar orientation, whilst maintaining uninterrupted views and maximum privacy at all times.

Adaptation to the existing topography was one of the key pillars of the proposal, aiming for minimal earthworks to reduce construction costs. The design adhered to the principles of sustainable architecture, featuring large openings to maximise solar gain. This was combined with an architectural approach fully integrated into the environment, utilising locally sourced materials, green roofs, and expansive private gardens.

The scheme proposed four detached houses and two groups of three interlocked dwellings. The proposal complied perfectly with current planning regulations and would be eligible for immediate planning permission once the subdivision of the original estate was completed.
