The commission for this intervention entailed the comprehensive management required to facilitate the expansion of the Sagrada Família Clinic.

A meticulous study was conducted to address the Clinic’s specific needs and adapt its facilities in line with current medical advancements. A preliminary design was developed to consider not only the strictly medical requirements but also the complex’s urban and environmental integration within the city context.

The Modification of the Special Urban Plan for the Clinic was drafted under the supervision and coordination of the City Council and has now received initial approval.

Key criteria for the intervention included the traffic calming of Carrer de Sant Casimir, an analysis of essential mobility requirements, and the environmental performance of the complex to minimise the project’s impact on its surroundings. The study of economic sustainability has been a priority, with the aim of reducing the building’s energy consumption both during construction and throughout the complex’s lifespan.
